I don't know whether the graphic is based on any actual data, or whether it was collected in a valid way if it is. However, the quoted sentence demonstrates that they may have something there. I'd guess you must be evangelical Protestant, which would lie somewhere off the graph to the left.

In this case, religious people on the dating site okcupid have a statistically lower writing proficiency level than atheists, according to the coleman-liau index readability test. Intelligence was not mentioned.

You see, the basic point there is that you decided to omit crucial information in order to trick people into thinking that religious people are somehow inferior to atheists. The information is absolutely, absolutely crucial.
Now if not, then what are you trying to prove? Exactly what? Because the research says that out of _500000_ people on the _internet_, to be more precise, on a _dating site_, religious people are less likely to use absolutely perfect _English language_ in their _"about me"_, regardless of which language is their native one. More than that, you decided to believe a research without suspecting that they just made shit up on the spot. What does that imply? What are you implying?
