Faithfully burning threats.

Come on, grab an armful, we have to destroy everything that's harmful to God!

Tonight's episode of family guy does religion.

  2. Isn't it funny BECAUSE it's so close to being true? :P

  3. I have to agree, but it also touches on a rather disturbing field and likelyhood. I mean we all know it's actually happened before, hence the point of the joke ....

  4. You guys are funny. You believe cartoons and yet think the Bible a fairy tale.

  5. Comical & ridiculous sources of information (the Bible OR Family Guy) can still have truth to them.

There are other posts on this site which aren't purely for comic relief. You couldn't start by making an intelligent argument on one of them?

Believe cartoons? It's not the cartoon they believe, it's the history it represents. Christians have been guilty of even worse than what's represented in that cartoon. I'm not sure which is sadder, though - that Christians historically have done such stupid things or that atheists use samples of such things to excuse closed mindedness and illogic in the discussion of God's non/existence.

  7. Please give examples of the closed mindedness used in discussion. Also, keep in mind this post is for comical relief. You didn't see the sticky out tongue emoticon thing :P?
